Town of Columbia Staff and First Selectman Steven Everett have been in close contact with both the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Emergency Spill Response team and Kropp Environmental Services and have ensured that any residual contaminants are addressed and the remediation is complete.
