The Town of Columbia Land Use Department has been made aware of a nationwide scam targeting land use applicants.
Scammers are requesting large wire transfer payments for application fees.
🔒 We will NEVER request payment via wire transfer.
💳 All payments must be made in person or through our official online permitting portal.
If you receive a suspicious message, do not respond — report it to our staff immediately.
