The Town of Columbia has an open position for a Social & Senior Services Support Coordinator. This is a full-time position at 35 hours per week, and the hourly pay is $27.88. The Social and Senior Services Support Coordinator works to create an engaging, supportive, and thriving community in Columbia, where every individual has access to the information, support, and resources they need to lead a dignified and fulfilling life. Through social services like case management, public benefits application assistance, heating assistance, emergency financial assistance, and nutrition programs, the coordinator helps ensure that families and individuals have the means to meet their basic needs. 

Responsible for the oversight and coordination of the Town of Columbia’s Senior Transportation Program. Participates in performing Senior Transportation scheduling, routing, and dispatching duties. Provides reception services at the Beckish Senior Center, providing helpful guidance to visitors and performing various aspects of all the activities and functions of the senior center. Provides program support services to the Director of Senior Services.
