By law, the Town Clerk can only issue certified copies of Vital Records. To obtain a copy of a birth, marriage, or death certificate, you must bring your valid government-issued photo ID (i.e. driver’s license or passport) along with a completed application. Certificates cost $20 each and can be paid for with cash or check payable to the Columbia Town Clerk. Credit cards are not accepted.
