Effective July 1, 2026: Building Permit Fee Schedule Change
The Building & Land Use Department building permit fee schedule will be adjusted to the following:
Minimum permit fee for any construction value $3000.00 or less: $45.00
Cost per thousand (or any part of) for construction value greater than $3000.00: $15.00
Town Zoning fees will be adjusted to the following:

Single Family Dwellings: |

Commercial Buildings: |
$100.00 |
A $15.00 administrative fee is added to each permit.
State zoning fees ($60.00) and State Ed. Fees (.26 per thousand) remain unchanged.
Working without a permit: A $100.00 fee/fine will be added to the cost of the permit if any work has been done or completed prior to the issuance of the approved permit.
