The duly qualified electors and voters of the Town of Columbia, Connecticut and any other persons entitled to vote upon any of the matters contained in this warning are hereby notified to meet in the Adella G. Urban Conference Room, 323 Route 87, Columbia, CT on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 6:45 p.m. for the following purpose:
CLAUSE 1: To amend the Town’s Tax and Business Incentive Ordinance to delegate the authority to enter into tax and business incentive agreements to the Board of Selectmen.
CLAUSE 2: To approve a General Fund appropriation of $67,500 to Capital Account: DPW Capital Equipment, Account # 60-6205-001 to cover the cost of a DPW Pickup Truck with Plow Replacement.
CLAUSE 3: To approve a Contingency Fund transfer of $ 8,350 from Account # 10-4800-900 to Capital Account: Facilities Capital Improvements-Buildings Account # 20-6206-002 to cover the cost of new Controls for the Senior Center heating/cooling system.
CLAUSE 4: To approve a Contingency Fund transfer of $ 2,000 from Account # 10-4800-900 to Capital Account: Senior Transportation, Account # 20- 6208-021 to cover the cost above budget for the new Senior Center SUV with wheelchair access.
